Simon Says Stamp Anniversary Sale Haul

I was complaining in my last Simon Says Stamp order that my package got lost for quite a few months, so I was super shocked that this order got to me in record time - 2 weeks. I got some new things from Hero Arts and a few things I got on my wish list for some time. I'm going to try some new watercolour paintbrushes (other crafters made me do it!) and I can't wait to stamp these balloon stamps from Sunny Studio Stamps :)

Za zadnje naročilo pri Simon Says Stamps sem se pritoževala, da se je moj paket izgubil za par mesecev, zato sem bila še toliko bolj presenečena, da je to naročilo potrebovalo do mene samo dva tedna. Naročila sem nekaj novejših stvari od Hero Arts in nekaj stvari, ki so bile že dlje časa na listi želja. Naročila sem par čopičev za akvarel (ostali ustvarjalci so me prisilili!) in komaj čakam, da odtisnem balone od Sunny Studio Stamps :)

Sweet Wishes

I made a sweet birthday card today using Wplus9 Triangles stamp for the background with three different colours, Papermania cupcakes and Najlepši par sentiment dies. I also added some vellum. I tend to forget about it and it's a great way to soften the background if you don't want to take away from your focal point.

Danes sem naredila sladko rojstnodnevno voščilnico z Wplus9 trikotniki in tremi barvami za ozadje, Papermania torticami in voščilom Najlepšega para. Dodala sem tudi trak paus papirja, na katerega kar malo pozabim, ampak zelo lepo zmehča ozadje, da ne odvrne od osrednjega motiva.

Sparkly Butterfly

Today I used floral stamp from Wplus9 for the background and there is a Hero Arts butterfly as the focal point. I used Shadow Ink and ink blending tool to colour him in and I added a whole lot of Stickles all over the place.

Danes sem uporabila cvetlično štampiljko Wplus9 za ozadje, v ospredju pa je Hero Arts metulj. Uporabila sem Shadow blazinice in ga pobarvala s pomočjo blazinic za senčenje. Na koncu sem dodala en kup Stickles bleščic. 

I love how the colours on the butterfly blend and how sparkly it is. You still have some time to participate in this month's challenge over at A Blog Named Hero.

Res mi je všeč kako se barve na metulju prelivajo med seboj, predvsem pa vse bleščeče pikice. Še vedno imate čas, da sodelujete v mesečnem izzivu na A Blog Named Hero.

Friday Fun Wrapped Up With Peonies

I had to use the Pretty Peonies stamp set from Wplus9 again and I used flowers to frame the sentiment. I did not use a different colour of ink for shadows on the flowers but Versamark and clear embossing powder. Lovely effect :)

Morala sem ponovno uporabiti čudovit set Pretty Peonies od Wplus9 in s pomočjo cvetov sem uokvirila voščilo. Namesto temnejše barve za sence sem uporabila kar Versamark blazinico in prozoren embosirni prah. Zanimiv in malo drugačen efekt :)

Po nekaj roza in punčkastih voščilnicah sem želela eno, ki bi imela bolj moške vibracije. Uporabila pa sem metulje. Bi to sploh lahko bila moška rojstnodnevna voščilnica? :)

Friday Fun with Little Wedding Bits

It's been one of those crazy weeks when I don't know what day it is, but I made this wedding card and I used Wplus9 Little Bits stamp set. This heart shape is perfect in my opinion. Cute and rounded :) 

Ta teden je bil eden izmed tistih, ko nisem vedela kater dan ali datum je, sem pa za danes uspela narediti to poročno voščilnico, za katero sem uporabila Wplus9 Little Bits set štampiljk s perfektno obliko srčka. Zaobljena in prisrčna oblika :)

Work Time Wednesday Watercolouring

I just can't get enough of Flora and Fauna 2 stamp set from Wplus9. It's the perfect set to watercolour and so I did just that. I used Distress ink and made my own palette.

Ne morem se naveličati Flora and Fauna 2 seta štampiljk od Wplus9. Motivi so idealni za akvarel in točno to sem danes naredila. Za barvanje sem uporabila Distress blazinice.

Work Time Wednesday Watercolour Bleaching

I saw a video by Kelly Latevola on Simon Says Stamps YouTube channel and wanted to play with that technique she called Watercolor Bleaching. I used three different Distress colours instead of one colour in different shades and made a few highlights by bleaching the ink and then added some Stickles and Liquid Pearls all over the card. 

Pred kratkim sem videla posnetek Kelly Latevola za YouTube kanal Simon Says Stamp, tako da sem se želela malo poigrati s tehniko, ki jo je uporabila in jo poimenovala watercolor bleaching (beljenje akvarelov oz. nekaj takega). Namesto ene barve v več odtenkih sem uporabila tri različne blazinice in odstranila nekaj barve s pomočjo vode. Na koncu sem dodala nekaj Stickles bleščic in belih Liquid Pearls pikic. 

This card is similar to one I did a few weeks ago, but it's a different technique that I wanted to experiment with. I hope you like it and I wish you a great day!

Podobno voščilnico sem že naredila nekaj tednov nazaj, vendar sem uporabila povsem različni tehniki. Upam, da vam je moj eksperiment všeč in vam želim fantastičen dan!

This stamp set from Wplus9 is amazing. You can do the most basic techniques with it and it looks unbelievable! I can't wait to play with it a bit more :)

Ta set štampiljk od Wplus9 je neverjeten. Uporabiš lahko najbolj osnovno tehniko, pa bo končni rezultat čudovit. Komaj čakam, da bom imela čas še za kašen eksperiment :)

Work Time Wednesday Painted Butterflies

I made three cards with Altenew Painted Butterflies today and I made them all one layer. I set up a challenge for myself and I love this set of stamps. Such a beautiful look.

Naredila sem tri voščilnice, pri katerih sem uporabila Altenew Painted Butterflies set štampiljk in jih naredila v eni sami ravnini. Običajno imam s tem težave in sem si tako postavila dvojni izziv. Resnično je ta set metuljev naravnost čudovit.

First I combined butterflies with Wplus9 Ranunculus stamp set.

Najprej sem metulje dodala cvetličnemu aranžmaju Wplus9, ki sem ga uporabila prejšnji teden.

Second one is combined with Peony Bouquet and Perfect pearls.

Pri drugi voščilnici sem za cvetlični del uporabila potonike, metuljem pa sem dodala nekaj Perfect Pearls. 

And last but not least I made a CAS card using only sentiment and butterflies (with some Sparkling Clear sequins).

In zadnji primer je CAS voščilnica z metulji in voščilom, ki sem jim dodala le nekaj Sparkling Clear bleščic.

Work Time Wednesday Beautiful Bouquets: Ranunculus

I have a card and three panels for you today using Wplus9 Beautiful Bouquets: Ranunculus stamp set. 

Danes sem za vas pripravila voščilnico in tri ozadja s cvetjem iz Wplus9 seta Beautiful Bouquets: Ranunculus. 

I used Distress markers direct to stamp and coloured it in. After a few sprays of water I stamped my image on the card front and repeated that two more times for three generation stamping. 

Za voščilnico sem na ozadju odtisnila štampiljko, ki sem jo prej pobarvala z Distress markerji in poškropila z malo vode in to ponovila še dvakrat za tri "generacije" odtisov. 

For my three pieces I embossed the image first with Hero Arts White Satin Pearl embossing powder. I did emboss resist on the first one with Abandoned Coral Distress ink fading it to the bottom and then I pressed a wet stencil over it to bleach the colour. 

Za ozadja sem štampiljko najprej embosirala s Hero Arts White Satin Pearl embosirnim prahom. Na prvem kartonu sem se odločila za resist tehniko in uporabila Abandoned Coral Distress blazinico. Čez vse skupaj sem položila mokro stencil šablono, da sem pobelila ozadje.

I used Distress Ink to colour my second image that is embossed on watercolour paper. I pressed my ink pads on my work surface and used it as a palette. 

Drugi odtis sem pobarvala z Distress blazinicami, ki sem jih pritisnila na podlago in jih uporabila kot barvno paleto. 

I used a cheap watercolour set for the last one and added some splatters over the top. 

Na zadnjem sem uporabila en poceni komplet vodenih barvic z dodatkom poškropljenega ozadja. 

I love how my card turned out and the second piece coloured with Distress Ink. I'm not so sure about other two. They might not make it onto a finished card. What do you think? 

Odtisi na voščilnici so mi zelo všeč, prav tako barvanje z Distress blazinicami, za ostala dva pa nisem najbolj prepričana, da bosta našla pot na kakšno voščilnico. Kaj pa vi mislite?

Since Valentine's is approaching, I'm going Valentine's and/or Love themed this week :) My first card is not too sweet and not super serious. Somewhere in the middle :)

Glede na to, da se Valentinovo hitro približuje, bo na mojem blogu ta teden glavna tema Valentinovo oz. ljubezen. Moja prva voščilnica ni preveč pocukrana, prav tako pa ni preveč resna. Ravno nekje na sredini :)

Work Time Wednesday # 6

I got some new stamps about a month ago and I was itching to try them out. So I made two cards for today, one using the Altenew Painted Flowers and one using the Wplus9 Just Geometric:Triangles stamp set.

Približno en mesec nazaj sem dobila nove sete štampiljk in od takrat sem komaj čakala, da jih uspem uporabiti. Za danes sem pripravila dve voščilnici, pri katerih sem uporabila Altenew Painted Flowers za eno in Wplus9 Just Geometric: Triangles štampiljke za drugo.

First one is geometric and I used combination of Hero Arts Shadow inks to stamp this background out with Wplus9 stamp (this is a technique that I saw with Jennifer McGuire on this video). I did not do a great job lining those triangles up and I need some practise (but I still think it looks ok). This is a great canvas for your sentiment or extra embellishments, but I stamped a sentiment (Happy Birthday) and added numbers. 

Prva je bolj geometrična, uporabila sem kombinacijo Hero Arts Shadow blazinic, za odtis ozadja z Wplus9 štampiljko (to tehniko sem videla v tem videu Jennifer McGuire). Ni mi najbolje uspelo poravnati trikotnikov tako da očitno potrebujem še nekaj vaje (vseeno mislim, da ni preveč slabo). To ozadje je odlična osnova za veliko voščilo ali dodatno okrasitev, jaz pa sem v tem primeru le odtisnila voščilo in dodala številke za okroglo praznovanje.

The other one is much more whimsical and a bit girly. I used Altenew Painted Flowers, VersaFine Onyx Black ink and some Hero Arts Shadow inks. These roses look amazing and are super simple to stamp. I had some problems with VersaFine ink transferring onto the solid stamp and I had to stamp it off first and clean it, because I would transfer the black lines on the next flower not intending to do that. I think this is such an easy card that looks amazing. It’s all because of those stamps. They make your job much easier because they are designed perfectly.

Druga je precej bolj nežna in ženstvena. Uporabila sem Altenew Painted Flowers štampiljke, VersaFines Onyx Black in nekaj Hero Arts Shadow blazinic. Cvetlice izgledajo čudovito in jih je povsem preprosto sestaviti skupaj. Imela sem nekaj težav s črnim črnilom, ki se je preneslo na ozadje vrtnice in sem jo na drug cvet odtisnila, brez da bi to želela, če štampiljke nisem dobro očistila pred ponovnim odtisom. Mislim, da je ta voščilnica zelo enostavna za izdelavo, končni izdelek pa je čudovit. Za to so krive predvsem štampiljke. Tvoje delo izjemno poenostavijo, saj so oblikovane perfektno.
 

I added Stickles to both of them for some extra sparkle and dimension and that was it.
 

Na obe voščilnici sem dodala nekaj Stickles bleščic za nekaj dodatne dimenzije in to je bilo vse.
