I loved colouring this poinsettia die cut ornament so much that I had to do one in traditional Christmas colours. I stamped Holiday Foliage Bold Prints with embossing ink and brushed Perfect Pearls over it for that beautiful shine. Die cut sentiment is from Najlepši par. 

Res mi je bil nadvse všeč izrezek ornamenta z božičnimi zvezdami, ki sem ga barvala zadnjič, tako da sem morala narediti eno varianto v tradicionalnih božičnih barvah. Za ozadje sem odtisnila Holiday Foliage Bold Prints štampiljko z blazinico za embosiranje in preko odtisa nanesla Perfect Pearls prah za svetleče ozadje. Voščilo je od Najlepšega para.

Stretch Your Stamps Christmas Edition

Hello everyone!

I used three small stamps from Winter Heart stamp & cut set to make background for my Christmas card today and coloured those stockings with Copic markers to add some colour. I used green and red and tried to make every stocking different. I also added some Perfect Pearls splatter and a beautiful sentiment from the same set.

Danes sem na ozadju voščilnice uporabila tri male štampiljke nogavičk iz Winter Heart stamp & cut seta in jih pobarvala s Copic markerji. Poskusila sem narediti vsako nogavičko malce drugačno. Moji glavni barvi sta bili rdeča in zelena, dodala pa sem še nekaj Perfect Pearls pack in voščilo iz istega seta.

I'm a bit behind with my series but I will try to get up to speed ASAP :) Today I have a set of Christmas cards made with two older background stamps from Hero Arts that still look amazing. I brushed Perfect Pearls over them and added Simon Says Stamp poinsettias made out of Poinsettia parade die. I just stacked the flowers and put three on every card. Sentiment is from Najlepši par.

Malce zaostajam s serijo, ampak se bom potrudila, da ponovno ujamem ritem :) Danes sem naredila set voščilnic z dvema starejšima Hero Arts štampiljkama za ozadje, ki sem jih odtisnila in preko nanesla Perfect Pearls prah. Na vsako voščilnico sem dodala tri božične zvezde, ki sem jih sestavila s Simon Says Stamp rezalno šablono Poinsettia parade. Voščilo je od najlepšega para.

I had to use the Snowflakes and Ornament Fancy die one more time. This time with watercoloured and gold embossed panel, watercolour solid and glitter snowflake part and shaded solid and glitter snowflakes in blue. Sentiment is from Najlepši par. I used Perfect Pearls powder on all backgrounds.

Res sem morala ponovno uporabiti Snowflakes and Ornament Fancy die rezalno šablono Hero Arts. Tokrat sem izrezala zlato embosirano in akvarelno pobarvano ozadje, akvarelno ozadje z rdečimi bleščečimi snežinkami ter senčeno ozadje in bleščeče snežinke v modri barvi. Voščilo je od Najlepšega para. Na vseh osnovah sem uporabila odtis in Perfect Pearls prah.

I can't decide which one I like better. What do you think?

Layering with Perfect Pearls

I tried adding Perfect Pearls to the last stamped layer of hydrangeas on my card for today and I think it turned out great. It's such a beautiful shine. I stamped the detail part of flowers with Grape Juice ink and brushed Perfect Pearls in Perfect Pearls colour over it. And I also love the sentiments in Color Layering Hydrangea stamp set.

Danes sem poskusila uporabiti Perfect Pearls prah samo na končni odtisnjeni plasti cvetov in mislim, da je izpadlo super. Zelo lepo se sveti. Štampiljko s podrobnostmi cvetov sem odtisnila z Grape Juice blazinico in takoj preko odtisa nanesla Perfect Pearls prah v Perfect Pearls barvi. Voščilo iz seta Color Layering Hydrangea pa so tudi čudoviti.

A Blog Named Hero: Use Your Favourite Hero Arts Product # 2

Na A Blog Named Hero poteka izziv in časa imate do 10ega aprila, da uporabite svoj najljubši Hero Arts izdelek in ga delite, saj imate dve možnosti za osvojitev darilnega bona za Hero Arts spletno trgovino.

 

I used my favourite stamp from Hero Arts called Leafy Vines (again) with Versa Mark and purple Perfect Pearls over a purple and white cardstock. I combined it with a Butterfly Confetti Fancy Die and made two cards switching die cut butterflies and making a few of them "fly". Sentiments are from Come Fly With Me stamp set. If you are wondering about size of my card base - I use mostly A6 card bases that are a bit taller and a bit skinnier from a standard A2 (US letter size) card base. Butterfly die is A2 size but I don't mind the border for this two cards.

Uporabila sem mojo najljubšo Hero Arts štampiljko Leafy Vines (ponovno) z Versa Mark blazinico in vijoličnim Perfect Pearls na belem in vijoličnem kartonu. Vse skupaj sem dvakrat izrezala z Butterfly Confetti Fancy Die in naredila dve voščilnici z zamenjavo metuljev med katerimi jih nekaj tudi "leti". Voščila so iz seta Come Fly With Me. Ta rezalna šablona je narejena za A2 velikost osnove, kar je standardna velikost v Ameriki, jaz pa večinoma uporabljam A6 osnove, ki so malce višje in malenkost ožje od ameriške variante. Na teh dveh voščilnicah me malce roba prav nič ne moti.

Altenew Wedding card

I got inspired by Altenew challenge for the month of January and all the Valentine's cards that are flying around crafting world so I made this Wedding card using Distress Ink on watercolour paper (ink pad pressed on a craft mat and sprayed with water) in three colours - yellow/orange, pink and green. I stamped Altenew Adore You stamps and fussy cut them out and then arranged them in a heart shape. I also stamped the card base with Simon Says Stamp Flora Background in Versa Mark and brushed Perfect Pearls over it.

Navdih za današnjo voščilnico je prišel iz Altenew izziva za mesec januar in vseh valentinovih čestitk, ki jih lahko vidiš v ustvarjalnem svetu. Poročno voščilnico sem naredila s pomočjo Distress blazinic in akvarelnega papirja (blazinico sem pritisnila na podlago in jo pošpricala z vodo) v treh barvah - rumeno/oranžni, roza in zeleni. Nanje sem odtisnila Altenew Adore You štampiljke in jih izrezala. Cvetove in liste sem uredila v obliko srca, na osnovo pa sem odtisnila Simon Says Stamp Flora Background štampiljko z Vesa Mark blazinico in čez nanesla Perfect Pearls prah.

Simple wedding cards

I love the look of this Simon Says Stamp Leaves Background stamp and I wanted to use it on craft paper with white embossing and Perfect Pearls. I have two different shades of craft so I used Perfect Pearls on lighter and embossing on darker one.

Zelo mi je všeč oblika listov na Leaves Background Simon Says Stamp štampiljki in želela sem jo uporabiti na kraft papirju z belim embosirnim prahom in Perfect Pearls prahom. V zalogi imam dva različna odtenka kraft papirja, tako da sem na svetlejšem uporabila Perfect Pearls, na temnejšem pa bel embosing. 

I die cut two butterflies and a sentiment from glitter paper and glued it on white embossed card base. Both sentiment dies are from Najlepši par. Second one is die cut from white cardstock but I used Heart of Roses die from Simon Says Stamp instead of the butterflies and added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins for a bit of colour.

Dva metulja in voščilo sem izrezala iz bleščečega papirja in jih prilepila na osnovo z belim embosingom. Na drugo ozadje pa sem prilepila Simon Says Stamp Heart of Roses izrezek in drugo voščilo Najlepšega para. Nekaj barve sem dodala s Pretty Pink Posh bleščicami. 

Valentine's Day is around the corner and then comes the wedding season. You can easily change these two into Valentine's Day cards.

Valentinovo se bliža, potem pa se bo že zelo kmalu začela glavna sezona porok. Preprost in eleganten slog je za poroko vedno aktualen, brez večjega napora pa ti dve voščilnici lahko spremenite tudi v voščilnico za vašega Valentinčka.

5th Anniversary of A Blog Named Hero Blog Hop

I'm a current member of A Blog Named Hero Facebook team and I made a card using my favourite Hero Arts stamp Leafy Vines for this special occasion. I don't know how many times I have used this stamp but it's still my go-to background stamp. I used it with green ink and Versa Mark today with a touch of gold Perfect Pearls powder.

I also used two different sizes of flowers from Hero Arts (one a rubber stamp ant the other from a clear set) and coloured them with Copic markers. Leaf is from the same set as the smaller flower.

Since I wanted to make my card shape a bit unusual I cut front of my card base in half and glued the flowers so they make the bottom edge of my card. Inside of the card is also stamped with Leafy Vines stamp to make soft background for your note to the recipient.

I loved how my last card turned out so I wanted to use the same stamp and add more shimmer to it. I went with an unusual colour combination red and blue but I kind of like it :)

Zadnja voščilnica mi je bila zelo všeč, tako da sem se odločila ponovno uporabiti isto štampiljko in jo pobarvati z več bleščanja. Uporabila sem tudi malce nenavadno barvno kombinacijo rdeče in modre, ki pa sploh ni tako zelo slaba :)

I hope you had wonderful holidays with your loved ones like I did, but I have to show you a couple more projects that I didn't manage to post before Christmas. I love water colouring with Distress ink on cardstock lately even if it makes a mess and is not at all smooth. I added some Perfect Pearls for the shine.

Upam, da ste preživeli čudovite praznike v krogu najdražjih, kakor jaz, sem pa dolžna še nakaj objav, ki jih nisem uspela objaviti pred božičem. Zadnje čase mi je zelo všeč barvanje z Distress blazinicami na karton, čeprav rezultat ni najbolj čista in enakomerna barva. Dodala sem še nekaj Perfect Pearls prahu za lesk.

I took my design from last time and took it up a notch. I used Perfect Pearls in gold and pearl colour and combined them with gold and silver string some pattern paper and Stickles. I also used foam tape to make it more dimensional.

Voščilnice prejšnjega petka sem danes malce dopolnila in pri tem uporabila Perfect Pearls prah v zlati in perl barvi. Dodala sem srebrno in zlato vrvico, vzorčast papir in bleščice. Srednji del sem tudi malce dvignila s pomočjo penastega lepila, da je vse skupaj malce bolj razgibano.
