5th Anniversary of A Blog Named Hero Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to this celebration!

A Blog Named Hero is celebrating 5th anniversary and there is a two day blog hop with lots of prizes to win. There are differen prizes each day so make sure to comment on all stops. You can read all about the giveaway down below.

I'm a current member of A Blog Named Hero Facebook team and I made a card using my favourite Hero Arts stamp Leafy Vines for this special occasion. I don't know how many times I have used this stamp but it's still my go-to background stamp. I used it with green ink and Versa Mark today with a touch of gold Perfect Pearls powder.

I also used two different sizes of flowers from Hero Arts (one a rubber stamp ant the other from a clear set) and coloured them with Copic markers. Leaf is from the same set as the smaller flower.

Since I wanted to make my card shape a bit unusual I cut front of my card base in half and glued the flowers so they make the bottom edge of my card. Inside of the card is also stamped with Leafy Vines stamp to make soft background for your note to the recipient.

Congratulations Litte One

I made a baby card today using a bit of experimentation on the background. I stamped a background stamp by Hero Arts with a Hero Arts ink on a piece of dry embossed piece of cardstock that I dampened with water. Since I used Hero Arts ink you can see a bit of sharp stamped image. Quite a fun effect :)

Danes sem naredila voščilnico za novorojenčka, pri kateri sem malo eksperimentirala z ozadjem. Hero Arts štampiljko za ozadje sem s Hero Arts blazinico odtisnila na moker kos kartona, ki sem ga predhodno embosirala z reliefno srajčko. Ker sem uporabila Hero Arts blazinico je odtis na večini ozadja lepo viden. Prav zanimiv efekt :)
