Work Time Wednesday # 5

Hello everyone!

Lepo pozdravljeni!

Today's card is another birthday one, because I realised (after doing some organizing) that I don't have any extra birthday cards on hand. And since my focus stamp set is a birthday themed, that is perfect :) Today I used balloons from that set and some pattern paper (that I usually don't know what to do with when there are bright colours and patterns involved).

I paper pieced the balloons and make them a bit dimensional by rounding them up from the back and putting some foam adhesive in the middle. I "hung" the sentiment up on the balloon string so it looks like balloons are lifting up the sentiment (it says: Have a fantastic birthday!). I cut some panels from pattern papers and layered everything up on my card base. A few finishing touches, sponging and I still have no idea if I like those patterns together or not. They look fun and playful. What do you think?

Thank you for coming over and have a great day!

Hvala za obisk in želim vam čudovit dan!

Mateja

I'm enetring this card into Simon Says Work it Wednesday: Spring (flowers and spring time colours work for this theme IMO).
