Case me a Christmas Card with Michelle

Hello everyone!

It's has been tradition for the last few years to work with Michelle on one of our Christmas cards. And this year we a CASEin each other's cards and I used this one for my inspiration. I changed the colour, stamps and did not mask the sentiment. I also added some gold embossing on the edges of sentiment strip and card base. 

Postalo je že tradicionalno, da se za eno novoletno voščilnico povežem z Michelle. Tudi letos je tema CASE () in letos sem za navdih izbrala to voščilnico. Spremenila sem barve, štampiljke, voščilo je dvignjeno na traku, dodala pa sem še nekaj zlatega embossinga na robovih.

Spring Butterflies

I did some embossing resist strips the other day and I used one of them on two cards for today. I added Slovenian sentiments and some butterflies from Butterfly Confetti Fancy Die. I also used Sakura Gelly Roll pen to trace some butterfly trails all over the cards. Photos don't capture it that well but you can see it in real life and it's beautiful.

Zadnjič sem naredila nekaj trakov z emboss resist tehniko in enega izmed njih sem uporabila danes na dveh voščilnicah. Dodala sem še voščilo iz Art in Bead trgovine, ki so najnovejša pridobitev v moji kolekciji. Čudovita so in zelo uporabna. Izrezala sem še nekaj metuljev z Butterfly Confetti Fancy Die in jih prilepila naokoli. S Sakura Gelly Roll markerjem sem narisala še nekaj metuljevih poti, ki se na žalost na fotografijah slabše vidijo, v realnosti pa se res lepo posveti.

Elegant Poppy Card

It's smart to have a sympathy card or two on hand before you need it and this poppy Delicate Blooms stamp from Hero Arts white heat embossed on black with just a touch of black Liquid Pearls and black organza ribbon is perfect. It could also be a congratulations card for a minimalist person you know. This is also an older Hero Arts stamp, but I have to dig it out from my stash from time to time. It's beautiful.

Pametno je imeti kakšno sožalnico pri roki za takrat, ko jo potrebuješ in ti cvetovi maka iz seta Delicate Blooms Hero Arts so idealni. Z belim prahom so embosirani na črno, dodala pa sem črne Liquid Pearls in črn organca trak. Lahko bi bila tole tudi čestitke za minimalista v vašem življenju. Set štampiljk je sicer že malo starejši, ampak ga moram vsake toliko časa spet potegniti na plano. Čudovit je.

Blue and Silver Happy Birthday

I have a birthday card for you today because there is Birthday Card challenge going on at A Blog Named Hero at the moment. I used this beautiful Deco Pattern Stencil for the background with a few Hero Arts blue inks and Birthday Stamp & Cut set for everything else. I silver embossed confetti on the background and over the cake. Because sprinkles can be silver right?

Danes imam za vas rojstnodnevno voščilnico, sa je je to tema izziva na A Blog Named Hero. Uporabila sem Deco Pattern Stencil in par modrih Hero Arts blazinic ter Birthday Stamp & Cut set za vse ostalo. Konfete sem embosirala s srebrnim prahom na ozadje in torto. Ker srebrne mrvice sigurno obstajajo. A ne?

Sumertime Fun

When I hear of summertime and cards I instantly think of wedding cards. It's wedding season after all. In this Hero Arts Filigree Border Fancy Die is perfect for it. I used it on some pattern paper with glitter in light pink. I added two die cut borders and applied Grape Juice ink on die cut Congratulations die and two Memory Box butterflies. I also added Versa Mark ink on top and two coats of White Satin Embossing Powder. That is such a beautiful finish.

Ko slišim besede poletna zabava, pomislim na poroko in s tem poročne voščilnice. Saj je navsezadnje sezona za poroke. In Hero Arts Filigree Border Fancy Die rezalna šablona je kot naročena za to priložnost. Izrezala sem dva robova iz svetlo roza vzorčastega papirja z dodanimi bleščicami. Voščilo in oba metulja sem pobarvala z Grape Juice blazinico in s pomočjo Versa Mark blazinice nanesla še dve plasti White Satin embosirnega prahu. Res čudovit sijaj.

Let Your Dreams Take Flight

I'm super excited to be joining the Facebook Inspiration Team for A Blog Named Hero and be a part of this amazing team for at least a few more months :) I took inspiration for today's card from my last year's card from the month of July. This is one of my favourites from 2017 and I had to remake it for this introduction post.

Resnično sem navdušena, da se ponovno pridružujem Facebook ekipi A Blog Named Hero - novega uradnega bloga z izzivi Hero Arts in ustvarjam z ramo ob rami nove izjemne ustvarjalne ekipe vsaj še nekaj mesecev. Današnjo voščilnico je navdihnila ena mojih najljubših voščilnic lanskega leta iz meseca julija. 

I used the same butterfly stamp from Hero Arts (still one of my favourite butterfly stamps ever, unfortunately not available any more) but I used feather stamp from February My Monthly Hero Add-On stamp set Come Fly With Me and Soft Sky Shadow ink. I stamped the Butterfly with Versa Mark and sprinkled Black Sparkle embossing powder over it and I used the same for the sentiment. Since it's the beginning of a new A Blog Named Hero this sentiment really couldn't be more perfect. Just Let your dreams take flight :)

Uporabila sem isto štampiljko metulja (še vedno ena mojih najljubših štampiljk metulja sploh, na žalost pa ni več na voljo), za ozadje pa sem uporabila pero iz add-on izdelkov, del februarskega My Monthly Hero paketa, ki se imenuje  Come Fly With Me in ga odtisnila s Soft Sky Shadow blazinico. Metulja in voščilo sem embosirala z novim Black Sparkle embosirnim prahom, voščilo - Pusti svojim sanjam, da poletijo - pa je res na mestu za začetek novega A Blog Named Hero potovanja :)

Hearts Over Hearts

I have another wedding card for you today using heart full of hearts stamp from Mavelu that you saw in my Valentine's cards already. This idea of gold embossing over red stamp popped into my head the moment I saw this stamp set but I didn't have time to make it. It turned out even better that it looked in my head :) Love that!

Danes sem uspela uresničiti idejo poročne voščilnice, ki mi je padla na pamet v trenutku, ko sem zagledala ta set - zlat embos preko rdečega odtisa. Ta set sem že uporabila na voščilnicah za Valentinovo, saj je ta štampiljka srce polnega srce res idealna za ljubezenske voščilnice. Končni izdelek pa je dejansko še boljši, kot je bila skica v moji glavi.

You Have the Key To My Heart

February is here so the month of love is here :) You can't escape it so I'm not going to try. So my first two cards of this month feature a heart full of hearts stamp, embossed sentiment and a key (all from Mavelu) with amazing Najlepši par dies.

No, pa je tukaj februar, mesec ljubezni. Ne moreš mu uiti in se zato sploh ne bom trudila :) Moji prvi dve voščilnici sestavlja srce polno src, embosirano voščilo in ključ (vsi od Mavelu) s perfektnimi rezalnimi šablonami Najlepšega para.

First one is a classic red and gold combination and the second one is an ombre stamped heart and copper embossed sentiment and key.

Prva je klasična kombinacija rdeče in zlate, pri drugi pa sem srce odtisnila v prelivajočih se barvah, voščilo in ključ pa sem embosirala v bakreni barvi.

Simple wedding cards

I love the look of this Simon Says Stamp Leaves Background stamp and I wanted to use it on craft paper with white embossing and Perfect Pearls. I have two different shades of craft so I used Perfect Pearls on lighter and embossing on darker one.

Zelo mi je všeč oblika listov na Leaves Background Simon Says Stamp štampiljki in želela sem jo uporabiti na kraft papirju z belim embosirnim prahom in Perfect Pearls prahom. V zalogi imam dva različna odtenka kraft papirja, tako da sem na svetlejšem uporabila Perfect Pearls, na temnejšem pa bel embosing. 

I die cut two butterflies and a sentiment from glitter paper and glued it on white embossed card base. Both sentiment dies are from Najlepši par. Second one is die cut from white cardstock but I used Heart of Roses die from Simon Says Stamp instead of the butterflies and added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins for a bit of colour.

Dva metulja in voščilo sem izrezala iz bleščečega papirja in jih prilepila na osnovo z belim embosingom. Na drugo ozadje pa sem prilepila Simon Says Stamp Heart of Roses izrezek in drugo voščilo Najlepšega para. Nekaj barve sem dodala s Pretty Pink Posh bleščicami. 

Valentine's Day is around the corner and then comes the wedding season. You can easily change these two into Valentine's Day cards.

Valentinovo se bliža, potem pa se bo že zelo kmalu začela glavna sezona porok. Preprost in eleganten slog je za poroko vedno aktualen, brez večjega napora pa ti dve voščilnici lahko spremenite tudi v voščilnico za vašega Valentinčka.

25 Days of Joy / 25 Dni Veselja #7

I'm trying to catch up today with two cards using the same stamp, watercolour with Distress ink and embossing, but they look quite different.

Danes poskušam ujeti urnik z dvema voščilnicama na katerih sem uporabila isto štampiljko, embosiranje in barvanje z Distress blazinicami, končni rezultat pa je precej različen. 

I used gold embossing powder in the first for the bells and sentiment and three different colours of Distress ink. I also added some paint drops on the rest of the panel. There are strips of gold glitter paper on both edges.

Na prvi sem uporabila zlat embosirni prah za zvončke in voščilo ter tri različne barve Distress blazinic. Te tri barve sem poškropila tudi po celotnem ozadju. Na obeh robovih je trak bleščečega zlatega papirja. 

I dry embossed some water colour paper for the second one and white embossed the bells. After some colouring I added sentiment cut from the same gold glitter paper I used on the first one.

Kos akvarelnega papirja sem embosirala z reliefno srajčko in z belim prahom embosirala odtis zvončkov. Nekaj preprostega barvanja z Distress blazinicami in izrezana voščila Najlepšega para iz istega bleščečega papirja, kot pri prvi voščilnici.

This set of cards was made for last week, but I did not manage to post them. The bells are all paper pieced like ornaments from Wednesday and I used dry embossed background for them.

Ta kompletek voščilnic bi moral biti objavljen prejšnji teden, pa mi ni uspelo. Zvončki so sestavljeni iz različnih vzorčastih papirjev, kot ornamenti prejšnje srede, za ozadje pa sem uporabila embosirne mapice.

I used embossing folders that have a "label" incorporated into the design so I could use that for my sentiment and the bells.

Uporabila sem embosirne mapice, ki imajo vključeno ravno površino v obliki okrasne oblike, kar sem uporabila za voščilo in zvončke.

Hello everyone!

I got into some paper piecing today by colouring each set of bells with one colour (using blending tool) and the cutting them apart and gluing them to a die cut piece.

Danes sem se lotila sestavljanja odtisa iz dveh odtisov zvončkov, ki sem jih razrezala in ponovno sestavila skupaj na okroglem izrezku. 

I used some pattern paper for the background and added some stamping on the lighter one and a sentiment in red and I heat embossed the sentiment on the white pattern paper for the other.

Za ozadje sem uporabila nekaj vzorčastega papirja in na svetlejši kos naredila še nekaj odtisov in voščilo v rdeči barvi, na rdeč kos pa sem z belim prahom embosirala voščilo.

I played with an ornament stamp today and heat embossed it both times with a very different end result.

Danes sem se poigrala s štampiljko okraska, ki sem jo obakrat embosirala na koncu pa je nastalo dvoje precej različnih obeskov. 

I used glitter embossing powder in turquoise colour for the first card and then just kissed some colour on it with a sponge dauber. I also heat embossed the sentiment.

Za prvo voščilnico sem odtis embosirala z bleščečim embosirnim prahom v turkizni barvi, ki sem mu dodala samo malo barve z malo blazinico za senčenje. Z enakim prahom sem embosirala tudi voščilo Najlepšega para. 

I used White Pearl embossing powder for the second one, added shading with Distress Ink and some Perfect Pearls powder. I stamped Hero Arts background stamp on my card base in Versa Mark and brusher Perfect Pearls powder over it.

Za drugi okrasek sem uporabila White Pearl embosirni prah in ga pobarvala z Distress Ink blazinico, določene dele pa sem senčila s Perfect Pearls prahom. Na osnovo voščilnice sem odtisnila Hero Arts ozadje z Versa Mark blazinico in nanj nanesla Perfec Pearls prah.

I got some goodies in the mail yesterday and I couldn't resist using them. I used Hero Arts inks with Altenew stamp set and gold embossed a Hero Arts background stamp.

Včeraj sem dobila nekaj novih dobrot in nikakor se nisem mogla upret, da ne jih ne bi uporabila. Uporabila sem Altenew set štampiljk s Hero Arts blazinicami in z zlato embosirala Hero Arts štampiljko za ozadje.
