I wanted to use my ornament die once again and combine glitter and pattern paper. I think they look great especially combined with this amazing sentiment stamp from Najlepši par.

Ponovno sem želela uporabiti rezalno šablono okraska in danes sem kombinirala vzorčast in bleščeč papir. Mislim, da so izpadli precej lepo, sploh v kombinaciji s tem čudovitim voščilom Najlepšega para. 

Today I used glitter to "hang" my ornaments instead of string or ribbon. That eliminated "problem" of hiding extra string or ribbon and it also looks nice :)

Danes sem uporabila kar bleščice, da sem "obesila" obeske namesto vrvice ali traku. S tem sem se izognila "problemu" skrivanja odvečne vrbvice ali traku, pa še lepo zgleda :)

I made another Christmas ornaments set of cards using some masking, Gansai Tambi, Perfect Pearls and glitter paper.

Tudi danes imam za vas set voščilnic z ornamenti, pri katerih sem uporabil nekaj maskiranja, Gansai Tambi akvarele, Perfect Pearls sprej in bleščeč papir. 

I used a long strip of water colour paper and stamped the ornaments with some masking all over. I coloured them using Gansai Tambi watercolours and then sprayed them with Perfect Pearls mist.

Na dolg kos akvarelnega papirja sem odtisnila ornamente z nekaj maskiranja, jih pobarvala z Gansai Tambi barvami in vse skupaj posprejala s Perfect Pearls.

Hero Arts + A Blog Named Hero Holiday Blog Hop

I created a Holiday card that has more of the traditional or perhaps vintage feel, which is completely out of my usual style. Somehow the Peace Poinsettia stamp set made me do this :)

I used my Distress markers and played around with the solid and outline stamp of the poinsettia to make my focal point and I also added a few stars on a string from Sparkle borders stamp set. That is such a versatile stamp set. Love it! 

I fist white embossed the sentiment Season's greetings on a piece of Tim Holtz watercolour cardstock then I masked off the border to keep it white as possible. After that I played with water, Distress markers and my paintbrush. It was super fun. 

I don't know about you, but I can't stop myself from using some kind of glitter on my cards, especially if they are Holiday themed. That being said I had to make stars sparkle and the centre of my poinsettia stand out a bit. Red royal shading on my card base, foam tape on the back of my watercoloured panel and here we are.

And what fun would a blog hop be if there was no prizes along the way? So here it is...

A Blog Named Hero Challenge: Cards for Kids

We have another Challenge for you today at A Blog Named Hero. We are making cards for kids.

Danes imamo za vas nov izziv na A Blog Named Hero. Ustvarjali bomo voščilnice za otroke.

I made a shaker card with Lawn Fawn stamp set Ready, Set, Snow. I used tiny stamps from that stamp set and Sparkle Borders from Hero Arts on background of the shaker with ink and silver embossing. I used a couple of white and blue sequins inside that shaker and also tiny silver stars (that are actually supposed to be for nail art).

Naredila sem tresočko s setom Ready, Set, Snow od Lawn Fawn. Uporabila sem najmanjše štampiljke iz tega in Sparkle Borders seta štampiljk od Hero Arts za ozadje na tresočem delu, ki sem jih odtisnila z modro blazinico in tudi srebrno embosirala. V notranjost okvirja sem nasula par različnih belih in modrih bleščic, dodala pa sem še srebrne zvezdice, ki so sicer mišljene kot dekoracija na nohtih.

Snow men are glued on top of the shaker and I made some snow underneath of them with a dry baby wipe. 

Snežaka sem prilepila na vrh, pod njiju pa sem s pomočjo suhega otroškega robčka naredila sneg.
